Damn thick steel. And my roof area on all my buildings was a lot bigger than that. Stay away from aluminum. You can't walk on it if you need to go up on your roof (without damaging it). And it doesn't do too well with hail.

My roof's "texture" and color make it look like cedar shakes (sort of).

The main reason I chose steel was that it is truly a lifetime roof. Many lifetimes. And when I found out that "asphalt" shingles are made from paper, that sealed the deal. And the manufacturer of the original shingles was "offering" a warranty replacement. Of a really substandard replacement that had zero warranty. But...that's the roofing business.
