I’ll look into it. Keep in mind the $15 cameras don’t have a waterproof housing or cable. Since I’d imagine your cable is good you could reuse it. And even a big glob of epoxy with a piece over the lens would get the job done.
I’ve actually found a very good low light camera last night. It’s $100, and is designed for drone night flight.
Low light is defined mainly by the LUX. Most CMOS and CCD cameras have a 0.1 or 0.01 at best. This one is 0.00001.
