I kind of fell into this rifle/caliber. I already have a long range precision 6.5x47L build, so the CM didn't really interest me that much when it came out a few years ago. But the deal I got on this rifle couldn't be passed on. So I took the plunge.
The rifle will be a long range steel and paper puncher (I'm not a hunter). I hope to walk it out to a mile or close to there. My x47 has been out to the mile many times with the 139gr Scenars.
I'll be loading the 136gr Lapua Scenars with BR4 primers and Varget powder inside Lapua brass. I should be starting the charge weight at 36gr and working up from there.
