A friend of mine is raising sheep on his farm, last month he lost 2 sheep to coyotes. So I went in October first and set my snares. The first one I caught was alittle red. I’m not really worried about what I make or don’t make right now. Sure I’ll skin it and send it off. But I’m doing as a favour. Coyotes around here are still not fully prime yet. From my experience though the last week of October is when I set all my snares. That’s when there getting to be prime.
