the way i see it is this....you would have paid to have it processed whether you were giving any away or not right...so, if you have extra..rather than let it sit in your freezer and turn stale and old..why not share it with those that may need it, enjoy it or have not had the opportunity to have fresh game....the cost has already been pad in my mind..and a freezer full of meat is the result..any excess can be happily shared.
now, if it is an expected act...if you have friends that are very interested in a lot of meat..then ya i could see sharing the costs of processing.
