Sometimes it helps to play around with it a little...dig a couple more holes, adjust the choke (you shouldn't need it on once it's warmed up) and see what happens...y'know...troubleshoot.

typically it'll get a little stuck when you're breaking through the bottom of the ice. Lift up the auger just a bit (so it's not biting in) and then lower it again while giving it some gas and it should chew through.
