About 30 deer and 40 coyotes, gophers, badgers. Never had a deer go more than 20 yards after hittting them with 100 gr loads, bullets never went through either. Awesome load.

Just bought one. What do you guys recommend for factory loads? What grain? I just have some cheap Winchester Super X's 120gr Exploding points at the moment.

I like the hornady 117 grainers and the fusion 120 grains for factory out of my 25-06. Shot deer and coyotes with it.

which ones shoot the most accurate? if it's a premium bullet bonus, if not don't push the bullet past its performance envelope.

I have been using the Federal ammo with the 115gr Partitions and they shoot awesome out of the girlfriends Sako. I hope they shoot just as well out of the Ruger I just purchased.

I use 100 gr remington factory loads, my ruger m77 loves them. When they hit a deer the deer just folds over dead. When skinning I find the bullet right in the hide just about to exit.

I have shot mulie buck at 250 yards and whitetail at about 100. Also shot antelope with it. My Grandpa has taken moose with one as well. As far as bullets I use 110gr Accubonds for deer and 75gr Vmaxs for coyotes.

Thanks for the input guys. For bullets I have used the 120gr Positive Expansion Points they performed very well. I hit a whitetail buck with one and WOW broke ribs on both sides and made hamburger out of the lungs and went clear through. When I hit him it sounded like i hit a rock, I thought I missed lol cranked another shell in the chamber while watching him and he went 20 yards and did the drunk deer wobble and down he went. Looked behind him where I shot him and there was no rocks anywhere. They hit hard. Also used the 85 grain Ballistic Silver Tip on deer and coyotes they are very good as well if you do not want the yote pelts. And the 90 grain PEP's they work well to. And before I started reloading I ordered 2 boxes of barnes triple shock 100gr at WSS and that is the best all around bullet. And now I here that there is an 80gr TSX. Im looking at getting another 25-06 in TIKKA T3 HUNTER STAINLESS when they are available at WSS.
