Two summers ago my brother and I took our five young sons (ages 6-9) into Lakeland Provincial Park for a week long Manventure. The boys had a blast - freedom to roam the area like a pack of feral cats, knives in hand, and eat as much fish as their bellies could hold. It was so much fun that they have been pestering us to go back this summer. My brother and I are trying to come up with a new place to go though...it's always nice to explore new territory
We both have 16' Lund SSV's with 30 hp motors, quads and 4x4's, and are looking for a place to go that is out of the way enough that we won't have to fight a crowd, but not so far out of the way that the mommies will veto the trip. My brother lives in NE Alberta, but we are not opposed to going into Saskatchewan (we are rigged up for lakers as well). We would prefer to camp on an island so that we don't have to worry about bears.
Any suggestions?
