Default Rotational Slot Limit???

This idea just came to me.... not sure if it exists anywhere, or if it would work....

So what if lakes had a slot limit, where every year it changed, from smaller fish, to larger fish, in 3 or 4 stages, on a 3-4 year rotation. I really think it would work... But just a new idea, gonna look into it a bit! Has it ever been done? Opinions?

I think it could be a good idea but it is hard enough to get people to read and understand the regs as it is......this would likely be enough to blow the minds of some of the mental giants......

Well for those of us who follow the regs, I think it would be a good idea. For those who don't.... well maybe they could become the source of funding for more officers needed to enforce the rules....
Man do I wish the people in charge would be at the lakes asking us what we think and what they should be doing to protect and enhance our fisheries.

For some reason Alberta refuses to complicate the regs to the same degree other areas do. Most likely due to a lack of enforcement.
