Default Rose Creek

Has anyone ever fished Rose Creek west of Alder Flats? I hunt in that area and the creek always looks inviting.

Last I heard there were some suckers left but thats about it. Used to be some slew sharks, but from the floods to the droughts, they have disapeared.

I have family property that the rose runs through just south and a little west of the flats. There are still lots of jacks in the river if you know the right holes to fish. Was out there two weeks ago and seen 3 nice was one in shallow water where another creek runs in. Not sure if its open or not but it used to open around may long.

Brown trout were stocked in the upper section near #22 some years back.

A few years later I fished it and caught a few browns of different sizes so they had reproduced. That was years ago and I am not sure weather the browns have hung on or not. If anyone catches browns there please contact F&W in Rocky and tell the fish guys there what you caught and where. They will be interested.
