I bet you could sell it for about 6-7 grand. That would pay off my truck!

I'm feeling lucky...

When I win I'll limit my shots to under two miles.

Have you seen the gong show the NFA has become?
And you still want to send in money?
I don't want to donate to fund lawyers to try to mediate internal squabbles.

I don't know what side is in the wrong there, but the fact that it can't be resolved within the bylaws of the organization is troubling.

I didn't renew with the nfa, but bought a membership with the cssa instead.

The Canadian shooting sports association.
They seem to have a lot less nut jobs attached to them, and most important, aren't the black eye for Canadian gun owners that the nfa currently is.
The gun control movement has to be loving the nfa these days.

Have a look at the threads about the nfa annual general meeting over on Canadian gunnutz.
You might learn more about them than you wanted to know.

That is a definite possibility . I think reloader15 is made from ground up unicorn horn and leprechaun turds.

Yea I'm done with the NFA for now. I was a pretty interested member before. I'm on a few of the facebook groups started after the fiasco really got going, and lots of those guys are saying "join up because at least then you have a voice"... well it's pretty obvious that joining doesn't give you a voice, it only gives Sheldon more money to try to stay in power with.

I think that the "rebel" side hasn't exactly acted right either, but the president Sheldon Clare is certainly in the wrong the majority of the time. Any president with the best interest of the organization in mind would step down and immediately call a full election. Let the members decide what to do.

Also change the bylaws so that the president is directly elected by the members, not by the board of directors.

Then, if he wins the election again, great, he's got the support and no one can question it.

But as it stands, he's got very little real support, and he's acting/acted like a ****ed off little child who's not getting his way. Very disappointing. Got myself and my daughter a two year membership to the CSSA instead of joining back up with the NFA.
