Weed control
With out derailing (any more) the weed kill thread, I'm looking for advice on controlling hawk weed, ox eyed daisy and butter cups. The information I've found so far is inconsistent at best. I can't seem to find anything that covers all three and not much that will cover 2 out of 3. I don't have a lot of land to cover (less than 100 acres) and I would like to do this with spot control, not spraying the whole area.
Suggestions?

'Resolve' will work on them but only costs $800 for 2 jugs. If you are only spraying patches 1 jug might work. They are quite restrictive on who they will sell it too. Believe need to be confirmed farmer with died fuel eligibility. Thats what they told me at Ag sale firm.

I don't hink Resolve is the right name. The label search comes up with an old corn herbicide made by DuPont. The herbicide you are looking for is Reclaim II . If the hawkweed is already flowering you might be a little late for good control. UFA carries it. If you want more information contact the manufacturer, Corteva Agriscience, and ask to speak with a Range and Pasture specialist.

MCPA will get the buttercup. Not sure about the other 2
Or could go the grazon route. About $35/acre thiugh. MCPA 1/3 the price but isn’t residual. Restore about 25/acre last I looked and it is residual for 3 years

Sorry guys did mean "Restore" getting some old Age memory, but did remember the $800 for 2 jugs. Will kill about 30 weeds and as mentioned some residual for later year control.

Prices have definitely gone up from last I looked.
Here's a bit of a guideline

I sprayed 80 acres of pasture with Tru Range in June. It torched the buttercup and everything else other than grass.
I’ve also had good luck with MCPA and as Ti mentioned, it’s a fraction of the price of the other pasture sprays. I’m not sure it is even registered for pasture or for buttercup but it works.

MCPA and 2-4D will probably work but they do have grazing restrictions. I sprayed a bunch of pasture last year with restore. I would never do it again when we have drought conditions as it really set the grass back.

My favorite for butter cups is Trillion P. Not sure were you are at (city, town, or country). Here in the Clearwater County, you have to register before you buy it...
