Default It’s over, a reminder about gear

Take the batteries out of your gizmos so they don’t leak...

Remember all those repairs on equipment that you wish were done last year?
Yup...make that list and after Christmas it’s time to fix equipment and make new gizmos.

I have to:
make some new leather mitts
Make a new ground blind tarp
Fix the hip belt in my pack frame
Fix my folding chair, it’s on it’s last legs ...so to speak
Gonna also finally make my new and improved final version of a heater suit.
The first version served me well but I’ve developed some new ideas and
Bought new material and some Uber light primaloft-next year I’ll be warmer.

I fixed a couple broken things already and found some things that I was looking for all season.
Most of my battery powered stuff gets used all year so that not to urgent.
Nows the time to finish the half finished blind and get it ready for next year.

Great reminder Chef!

I'm going to remove batteries, but then I also want to finish my DIY Ghost Blind - need a Chinook to roll through for that
