Default Anyone Fished Roche Lake?

I plan to fish Roche Lake east of Swan Hills after freeze up. I have been there from the south (Fort Assiniboine) a couple of times in past hunting seasons. I am led to beleive that there are some decent jacks and perch in it. It certainly looks like a good lake. Has any body fished it? What can I expect to catch? Which way did you access it from? We plan to go in on snowmobile if we get some snow and cold.

We made it into Roche on the weekend. Stayed at the hunting camp for a night. We had a fun snowmobile trip through the bush country. Fishing was okay...managed about 30 perch and a few jacks bit as well. The fish were on the small side but were pretty eager to bite. Trucks are getting to the lake from the Swan Hills side now.
