Default Question

Deer shot (wounded) 25 minutes after sunset. Guns put away and follow blood trail with flashlight for over an hour until give up as deer has entered heavy bush. Zone is closed tomorrow. Legal to try and pick up the trail in the morning (without guns) or do you have to wait till Monday? Couldn't find anything in the regs and thinkin it's too late at night to phone F&W.

Cheers.

So then honest question. What do you do with a wounded deer with no guns? I would call fish and wildlife on this one.

hope you find it, and if you do it is most likely dead. you'll have a knife with you if it isn't. i doubt that i'ts illegal to track it the day after and i'd bring a rifle along anyways in case of predators.
