Haven't made it there yet but post your findings, the water level was low earlier in the season. Still would like to get out there, nice lakers.

Was up at Shray Lakes during he second week of August. Water was clear and cold, The kids and I did not have any luck and neither did anyone out in the boats. We did find Half of a huge Cuttthroat just out from shore in about five feet of water. Looked as though he'd been eaten my a bear, as there were claw marks on it. Also from the size of what was left it was probably 4 or 5 pounds. Kids gave up fishing by mid morning. Picked strawberries and chased many schools of trout fingerlings. Probably best fished by booking a guided trip or wait until the ice is on.
