Never ice fished on Sylvain before and looking for some guidance on lake access.

I gather you mean "Sylvan lake" since I couldn't find a Sylvain lake. There are lots of spots you can just drive on, try RR23 or Norglenwold. There is also Sunbreaker cove as well as Palm bay. The approaches allowed us to drive on with a little stn wagon.
