Default Charging Deep Cycle Batteries

I have a battery charger that has a few 6v and 12 volt settings. For charging my deep cycle battery should I be using the 12V 2AMP or the 12V 15AMP setting. Thanks guys .

Default my experience

If you need to charge them quickly, you can use the 15amp, they will charge to about 80%, after that use the 2amp, If you're in no hurry, then use the 2amp as Tallieho said.

I generally do 4 to 6 hours on the higher amp to get things going, then drop it to the lower setting for the rest of the day and part of the next.

Low and slow is the best way. Also get it on charge as soon as you can, the sooner the better.
