Little Buddy heater deal
Was at the funny named auto parts store in the N.E. that sells everything and they had the Little Buddy heater for $40. Is this a good price? Not intentionally promoting a business but I have to mention a good deal. I hope this is a good product for a 1-2 man tent.

lol my blackberry does funny things to me too. Whenever I get something from CT I ask the manager if they will give me the sale price. More often than not they will honor it. 40 bucks does seem like a decent price for the little buddy, but I wouldnt count on it keeping me warm in anything more than a 1 man tent.

I use it in my fifth wheel and I've got a 30 foot 5th wheel kept us warm when we were hunting at -20 at night , two of them are even better , just crack the roof vents and all is good .

With a little buddy heater? I call BS! Ive got a frabill double outpost, Big Buddy heater, fans, foam floor. Camped out in -40 on Cold Lake and barely kept it above zero over night.

There is the little buddy heater(sits on 1lb propane bottle 3800 btu). Buddy heater uses 1lb but no fan 4000-9000 btu, then there is the big buddy that uses 2-1lb or 20lb tank with a fan 9000-18000 btu.

I picked up a Little Buddy heater this week at WSS. Reg $79.99 on for $59.99. If you need one and you can get it for $40 then I'd go for it. Check the fine print......Any possibility that these are refurbished?
I don't think that the Little Buddy heater will keep me warm in my 2 man flip over but it will take the edge off the cold and make it somewhat comfortable.

I have the same problem with my big buddy. Thats propane for you. The OP was talking about a little buddy and that is why I stated it would not be better for anything more than a 1 man tent.

heaters
After reading the above posts I would reccomend getting the filter for either the big or little buddy. I got one and my heating and starting problems were over. Piker

I bought mine for about 80 at ct in Olds. I have a fat fish 949, and it works great. I guess if you wanted to fish in minus 35 in a t shirt you would want something else, but in warmer weather it's more than enough, when its cold, it keeps the edge off and let's you fish comfortably.

FYI guys. Yes it was the little budy on sale at pa and they are all sold out. I have insider info
And as guys stated they will work but not at -10 or more I have both heaters and the little budy is just not big enough to keep you warm in very low temps. But still a good unit

I chose the big buddy so if I need the extra heat its there if I need it. Nothing worse than buying something and regretting you didn't buy the larger model after IMO. But hey, I'm part of that reckless spending generation.
