Default Trout advice near Clagary this week

Hi guys,

I have a friend from overseas that I would like to take out on my 12' boat this Tuesday for a nice trout trip. I was hoping to go McKinnon Flats to Carstairs on the Bow, but I see the river is brown and very high. Is this recommended, both from a fishing ans safety point of view?

Alternatively, I have heard tell of a public lake near Caroline.

Any pointers?

Thanks

Boer

Ive caught some really nice trout right in the Bow, especially Edworthy Park...even with high water they will be holding in the edies and behind rocks and such. No boat required..
