Default "Pocket Cleavers"???

https://improb.com/best-edc-pocket-cleaver-knives/

Hmpffff! Whaddya think, boys?

Apparently these are all the rage with the cool kids. I want one now, but just for maybe every day carry ... for hunting I still think my fixed blade drop point is the way to go.

They seem rather pointless.

You should get a 100 dollar fine and 30 days for that!

I can take a complete Moose apart with a scalpel. Why would I pack a pocket cleaver?

Is there a bell that goes off in your kitchen when I post?

But that’s my question. What value would a portable cleaver be?

I'm thinking they are really just different styles of folding knives. Guessing they are mainly used for cutting stuff, just like most other folding knives.

Is this a hunting forum? For that application it would be a useless 5oz’s

Maybe you could try it as a caping knife?

I have a crkt pilar and a ganzo firebird. I enjoy edc'ing them as they are great for small food prep and such. Not much use for gutting/ dressing but the larger firebird would be ok for processing. The crkt is a bit small IMO.
Both are great slicers.
