try upper k lots more fish but not as many bulls as there is cuckers and cutts.
lower k use big crankers and dont stop reeling in but reel in slow. silver/pink/black works good try and mimic cuts if there rising use a silver spoon near the surface,

well iv been to lower k and only fished right infront of the parking lot. got a big and fat bully out of there with a cutty in his mouth.(kype) i think its more on what you use more then location when there over20 people on shore within 10 feet from you trying to get the same thing.. other then that fish beside the creeks and anything will work there.

Hi All, brand new to the forum and well - brand new to fishing (does a couple of suckers and a whitefish when I was 12 count???)

Fished at lower K on May long. Upper was still frozen solid. Lots of ice surrounding the lower lake too. Given the snow in Exshaw on Friday night, I wouldn't be surprised if the snow is still about at K lakes.

Lots of fish rising at lower K but I didn't get any bites. Might have something to do with knowing nothing. Cast a few spoons, a spinner and a crank but all I got was stick fish and rock fish.

Momma grizz and two cubs roaming the ice too. Conservation officer said it looks like there's more cubs this year than in the past.
