Nice, you would think there would be some pretty big pike in there considering the amount of walleye. Ever hear of anything in the teens coming out of there?

I have personally seen large pike in there, folling my walleye to the dock. I also had one on that go to shore just on the north side of the bridge that would of been right around OPs size.

I think he did post pictures last year of one of those fish, he just didn't say where it was caught. There is definitely dome monster pike in there. I had one on 2 summers ago that snapped 15lb test, as well have spotted them on the sonar. With all of those walleye that don't grow past 10", it will hopefully be an excellent pike fishery one day.

I don't know where you think the walleye are 10" I put in a few hours yesterday and was quite pleased that I caught several in the 15 inch range that also had good coloration and a nice fat belly.

Okay, maybe 10" is an exaggeration, but with the resevoir having such depth to it, it surprising that all the walleye are the same size, and that size is quite small. There must not be alot of food for them in there, or possibly over population

x2

I have measured them up to 17". Average around 15", and some small ones at 13".

Weighed up to about 1.5lbs

Lots of healthy walleye in there.

Likely stunting due to overpopulation and an invertebrate heavy diet.

Default Big pike in there

Yes there are big pike in there. We have caught several in the 10-15 lb range and seen a few in the 20's. Biggest I saw one day I was going home driving across the bridge. Guy was carrying a monster dragging the tail fin. Pulled over and asked the weight. He didn't have a scale so pulled out my digital one and 31 lbs.
