Default Paddle River Reservoir

Just thought I would share the success I had at the paddle river reservoir. Was there on thursday, shore fishing. Despite the bugs I pulled in 10 pike, including one estimated at 10 lbs (the rest were under keeper size). Only pike caught, and they were hammering the realistic lures (rubber perch looking ones), didn't catch a single one using spoons or bait. I released the biggun to catch again or let someone else have fun fighting it.

I searched the forum and couldn't find much on that place, thought I'd share the info about how it was. I was pretty much the only one fishing on the entire lake, too bad I didn't have a boat to explore a little more.

I've had great spring walleye fishing from shore there in the past too. Really under utilized piece of water. Always thought about walking around the green space with my bow in November there too.

Hah. It's a long way to go.

4 walleye there today, two small pike. Water level was about 8 feet higher than last week, which was interesting to see. It's about an hour and a half northwest of Edmonton there.
