It was a scam. She (?) got me to send 100 bucks to hold it for me.
Now messages do not go through & the ad is gone.

Would be nice if someone from Whitecourt sees this & can stop in at the address & see if they have a boat for sale (or did).... It's about 1.5 Hour drive for me one way.

Was this kijiji ? If so you can look at the seller reviews,if there's none or its a new account or private then those are all red flags.
$100 lesson learned,cheap ,most are a lot more.
And no one is going to put their address on a scam.Probably shes from another city.

My personal first rule is never give them a penny to hold a purchase. When inquiring about a sale item if they mention sending them x$$ its always no thanks if it sells before I can come and buy it oh well...I'm sorry you got ripped off...
