Default Ground pork-Red Deer area

My regular meat cutter/grocery store has packed it in and I will be in need of 50 lbs of ground pork within a month or so. Anyone price any out as of late? Thanks. BEL

Default Ground pork

Recently made some homemade sausage required 38 lb. of pork, best price was Red Deer Costco had to buy a full case , of pork picnics, the case was
47 lbs. and was approx. $ 80.00.The meat was boneless and there was 3 shoulders and it was a good quality meat and we ground it ourself, this is what Costco uses to make their in-store sausages.

I am buying mine off my butcher right now for $1.25/lb cut and wrapped but he is a good friend and I buy the entire pig and he does my processing for me as well. He has been saying that the price on the hook is and will continue to climb from what he is seeing.
