Default a few short clips from the last 2 weekends

Just thought Id share a few short clips, the pike was on my camera, the perch taken with my cell phone. perch were in about 20 feet of water with the fishcam pointing down in the hole, great way to fish, just sit back and relax and watch them at the bait, no leaning over the hole. Caught a rainbow too, wouldnt even have seen it without the camera, it tried and missed 3 times before it got the lure. So far my homemade perch lures are batting 1000 some much better than others but they all caught fish. Several times they were lined up all around my lure like spokes on a wheel, it was a lot of fun.

Cool videos. It's difficult to tell how big the perch were. Seems they were plentiful though. I love watching those little fellows. Thanks.

that would have to be a pretty small lake which one? I could tell you, but then.... well you know.
Its just a fishtv I picked up for 95 bucks on sale, and well worth it just for the entertainment value alone. I was hanging it in the hole pointing straight down , I had it hanging normally and the perch kept coming up and looking into the lens. I finally figured out by watching them closely when they tried to take the lure and missed, when they flap their jaws I could finally figure out what they were saying, same thing I usually say when I miss a fish, unless there are sensitive little ears around @#$%$$#

Unfortunately its a stocked trout lake, and they all have to go back. I did find a couple of my patterns worked better than others, have to do up a bunch of them when I can get more hooks. Those patterns brought in some perch 2 or 3 times the size of the ones in the video. Have to give them a shot on a few of the lakes around home that have keeper perch in them.

I just have the plainjane fishtv, you can hook it up so it points straight down too. Easier to pull up quick that way if you hook a big fish too.

that lure looks a little to big for the perch... try downsizing a bit, ala small marmish jigs and you won't be able to keep them away.

I had a little minnow on the lure actually. I did find with a maggot on them the fish were hitting the lure not the maggot, I caught a lot more with the plain lure . First time Ive ever used minnows for perch, and I was surprised at how even the smallest perch would eat the minnows.
