So my daughter Hannah has been working at Lloydminster Newcap News since mid December (after doing her internship there, and graduated from NAIT in broadcast journalism)....and has put together a demo of some of her work. She has been doing a number of stories on the Canadian Armed Forces, in Wainright and Cold Lake, got to go for a ride in the LAV and Leopard II, a Huey, and a Herc last weekend. She is a little upset that she doesn't meet the minimum weight requirements, so they can't take her for a spin in the CF-18, but isn't willing to plump up 20 lbs....lol. She prefers reporting and writing stories to anchoring, but it's all part of learning the trade. She is loving it, and I couldn't be more pleased to see her living the dream!

Edit: I gave her grief about the 'assault rifle' bit, but she has to read what they give her. Also, when she threw the axe....it did not hit that target in the middle! Creative editing....
