Default News blowing up over findings that some MP’s and senators wittingly or semi wittingly helped China and India meddle in our elections

But the report and the liberals won’t name these individuals.

Where is the accountability?

I don’t care which party they belong to… but it appears liberals are in the mix.

Trudeau testifying was a joke

Soon after they were elected, some Canadian members of Parliament began "wittingly assisting" foreign state actors, says a report released Monday -- including sending confidential information to Indian officials.

Trudeau is not willing to do anything because the interference is in his favor. He would like to be a dictator himself,he likes the Chinese. I wonder if Canada will ever be able to get back to some kind of normal, corruption seems to be common place with this government.

Exactly right, all will be swept under the carpet. As far as corruption goes, if the next government can even reduce corruption by half, that would make them the second most corrupt government in Canada.

When you volunteer to enter politics, you give up your right to anonymity when it comes to your job. Seems very odd that the names were withheld.

He's a dictator because he can be one. Not only him, but any prime minister can and usually is one.

The political and governing systems are out of date.

We do not need a crown or a king.

We need proportional representation. Limited time in office. Less powers for the prime minister.

One party can win a majority govern without a majority of votes.

I lived in a riding where my vote was always wasted or unimportant because the NDP was always winning.

Canada pretends to be a modern country but it has an antique political and electoral system.

Same goes for the US, they are using an electoral process that was invented 200 years ago.

The power a PM has is bestowed on him by the party, he only has one vote in parliament, same as anyone else. But within the party he controls promotions, appointments, etc. The Liberals could turf him in a heartbeat if they so chose, the reason they don't is because if they fail he has the power to exile them. It was a good system until the PM's figured out how to rule with an iron fist.

I'm a little worried Pierre's side has been quiet since the news broke. If they got some MP's on the take, better to boot them fast and get ahead of the mess.

As far as Trudeau's bunch of crooks, won't be surprised at all if they have past or sitting members caught.

Conservatives are demanding the names of those wittingly engaging in foreign interference.

Reporters are hounding freeland.

They won’t say the names for obvious reasons.

Didn't Trudeau think he had this one swept cleanly under the rug?

Don’t care who did it. They should be outed.

They are traitors.

It's unfortunate we abolished capital punishment for that.

Thought they hired a fixer (sorry rapporteur) to bury this corruption at our expense?

Well past due that they throw in the towel.

This interview with Sam Cooper, who originally broke story, is mind blowing in it's implications.

Yesterday in Question Period the CPC asked no questions about this issue. Why not? If the allegations are true charges of treason are not out of the question.

The Conservatives might not have clean hands. Party politics are corrupt in the extreme. I wouldn't be surprised if this issue crosses party lines

RCMP and csis should be solving this. They should have already solved it. They are just letting it happen. What do they do again?

If it benefits the liberals, Trudeau won't let them solve it.

And force every politician in Canada to have a front row seat on the front lawn of the legislator so they know when they screw up (treason) the same fate awaits them.

Liberal attitude in a nutshell. That should be their campaign slogan for next election, it encompasses the decade of their governing.
