Default Minors License

Hello I have been inquiring about getting a minors license (as I am 16 at the moment) and was wondering if anyone could help me understand the complete process. I know you have to do the CFSC and after that I have not heard what else the process entitles. If anyone could help me out I would be very gracious.

When you get your certificate from the course take it in when you get your win card if you dont already have one, and buy a hunting licence. you'll have to show them the certificate to activate your win card for hunting licences.

being as your under 18 it is unlawfull to hunt with a firearm if you are under 18 years of age and not accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or by a person 18 years of age or older who has the written permission of the parent or legal guardian.

after you complete the firearms course someone from the cfo office will arrange to talk with you in person and will determine your limits based upon your level of maturity, etc.this process can take up to 6 months.
