Motorola FRS
Not too happy with the range I got at camp last week with my pair of Motorola FSR model FV800R. I know actual range will be less than the 16 miles they say, but to barely hear the family at camp one mile away, geesh!!.
Some trees between us of course, but maybe someone has some pointers ? Maybe a sub channel / code ? We use channel 3, subcode 3.
Wonder if some channels or settings are better to give us more range ?
Got the repeat bleep to shut off finally LOL.
Any help appreciated.
