Default RCBS Uniflow micrometer stem?

Large or small stem. What is the difference in application?

Large is for larger powder charges of about 30gr. or more.
Small is for lighter charges less than 30 or so grains

And they now make an EXTRA large Uniflow for us 50 cal and 20mm shooters
that will throw up to 500 grains at a go
