Default Heart Lake

Has anyone been fishing at Heart Lake lately?
Have there been people driving on the lake?
Is there lots of snow on the lake right now?

Thanks

Default Heart lake

Be aware when going to Heart lake guys, Dont drive to the lunch and quad out. What im saying is dont leave anything unattended there. We had your gas line for the truck cut, dash torn apart, window smashed, and spare tire stolen. Just to mention a couple of things. That was on a day trip out didn't even stay over night. To bad because its a nice lake with good fishing.

What, you mean they left the battery! Consider yourself lucky.

Last time i was there was 3 weeks ago. Couldn't keep em off the hook. 4-6" of flood water, lots of snow, we were the only group on the lake, no other tracks then, 11" of ice, we snowmobiled in. I'm sure theres alot more snow there now.

Buckmaster 101, sorry to hear of the troubles you had there.
Anyone else been to Heart Lake in the last couple of weeks?

We are heading out this Sat. to the Lac La Biche area fishing.
Any other lake suggestions? Looking mainly for pike but some perch would also be a bonus. Just looking for lake suggestions that people have been to lately, not asking for direction to your "secret spot". Only up for one day so any input on some lakes that have been decent would be appreciated.

Thanks!
