Destroyed my snow plow today
I was put plowing today, nice and slow, enjoying the day and hit a concrete hard snowbank on the left side. Worked on it 2 hours, went out it bent again.
Anyone know where a used snow bear plow is for sale?

Don't wanna rain on your parade but those cheap plows don't hold up. I got a snow-away v plow on my f250 and do comercial snow removal and have hit lots of stuff....never damaged my plow, ever. But I paid 8 k for mine.
I'll look around for you , I know lotsa guys in the bussiness.

Awesome, thanks. In the meantime, I am going to retrofit a grader blade on it. Hopefully it will get me through spring.

Pictures or it didn't happen!! ( joking )
What was the impact like when you hit? I've hit stuff under the snow with a blade or bucket before, and it doesn't matter how slow you're going, it can give the body a jarring jolt!

well, I was thinking that if I clean off some of the roads in town people could get around, and proved again that no deed goes unpunished. / \

YES!!!!! Wishes do come true!
You brought this upon yourself, Ken. Wishing for loads more snow while on your way to Hawaii earns you nothing short of bad Karma. No sympathy here.

Like my new outfit?? I was going for the 'wow' factor.
Ok, here's a great chuck norris joke.
Chuck Norris is awesome, but even he cannot compete against 'The Ken's knuckles'.

Ken there's a reason why they're called snow plows, for breaking ice you need an ice breaker not a snow plow

Today maybe, I was a little, shall we say, 'warm'.
Just a little madder and I could have bent that bugger back bare handed. Of course while trying to straighten it out with a 30 ton hydraulic jack and chain, something slipped and everything went flying. That could have ended bad.
I had to shut down before I lost my cool, am going to try again tomorrow, and will do some strengthening on the plow.
Snow or not to snow, that is the question.
