Default Fun day on the Dogpound

Had a blast on the Dogpound Creek on Saturday, I took my wife and son on their first fishing trip. My son is 6 months old, we sat him in his stroller on the bank and held the brown trout up for him to see, I've never heard him squeal and giggle like that......

Started at 4:30pm till about 7:30pm, we caught 9 browns all togeter, I caught 6 and my wife 3 all from 8 in to 18 in using mepps #0 flourecent orange and green spinners.

The Dogpound can be a fun stream to fish, nice deep holes in spots. I used to fish it a bunch as a kid, still get out there whenever I can. I think it's better now than then since Buck for wildlife looked after it, no cattle or pies. Don't be suprised if you nail the odd 5 pound brown out of it as I have done it myself
