Default Lake Sinclair Wolf Lake Oil Field

Has anyone ever fished Sinclair Lake? It is North of Bonnyville towards the Air Weapons range. Thinking about snow shoeing into lake. Any feedback would be great!

Are there actually any fish in the lake or is it dead? I have been trying to get depth charts but don't seem to be any on angler atlas and there are no reports on Ifish Alberta. Have you ever caught any fish in the lake?

You can drive into Spring lake (Sinclair)at two different spots with a truck. It's full of hammer handles. It's overpopulated and the fish are small, stunted and covered in some kind of lice. On occasion we would catch perch in the 6-9 inch size but the lake does not have a great balance of angling species. Forage perch, hammer handle pike, and suckers. IMO the pike need to be thinned out so the perch can get a little bigger, but it's tough to catch keepers. Watch for nails and glass at the clearing by the lake. The lakeland's brightest like to drink, litter and leave burnt pallets there. It looked more like a dump than a launch the last time I was there.
