Default Battle river fishing

Just got back from battle river a few mins ago and the fishing was great they were jumping for flies everywhere i used a spinner rod though and landed 2 pike within 20 mins or so one was about 2 lbs and the other was 4 lbs. Heading out again monday if anyones interested.

yes u can launch a boat i was fishing at the boat launch on big knife point i believe its called its a campground

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that river. Never fished it before. Where is big knife point? Do you know if Battle river is similar to Red Deer river as far as width and depth? I can launch my boat pretty well at any bridge crossing along the Red Deer R. Thanks.

River must be deeper there. Here in Wainwright it is rather low.

There are a few real good spots down by hardisty that i know. As far as a boat on it i don't think so unless you go to the forestburg res
