New Primos Trigger Stick
Any thoughts on the new one? Work in the cold? Does it hold?

Tried out the one my friend has (bipod model) nice, easy to use. I want one myself but the tripod model, a little on the expensive side...

Just picked up one for coyote hunting. Have not used it yet but it seems to fit my requirements for quick, one hand adjustment. Guess I will find out next winter its cold weather functionality.

Costly
I have been constantly checking for the tripod to go on sale still waiting
$200.00 seem a little much but if it works great and you have no hassles with it
Might have to get one even if not on sale this summer

I have been using them since they came out a few years ago, and love mine. I have the shortest bipod and the tallest bipod as I found that the short one was too short in a number of cases in the snow. Coldest day I've used mine was -36 and it worked flawlessly, all day long.

I like the idea of a good rest. I don't like the idea of hunting with my rifle in one hand and a bulky shooting stick in the other. Great on TV where your guide is carrying it for you, but...

The Primos trigger stick is amazing. Broke down and picked up the tripod tall model last year. Easy to carry and deploy. Used it down to -25 Celsius. No flipping little tabs to open each section or to close. Great device. Super stable tripod and with each leg independent it works well to set up a nice platform on uneven ground. It's really like a bench in the field. My brother had the BogPod but when he saw how easy the trigger stick worked while actually hunting he regreted his choice. Go for it!

A question for you guys who have used these. The tall tripod model, can you shoot prone with this? Looks a little ackward to try to get the legs spread far enough apart to shoot prone?
