Default Wapiabi Cave

Couple of weeks ago, invited myself to join my son and some other people to visit the much talked about cave. Can't handle "Exposure", so I chickened out before the final ascent, but the rest of the group made it and here are some pics. Pretty strenuous climb once you leave the river and the trail is a bit obscure. They had some difficulty locating the cave itself and access is prohibited, not that that mattered. Entrance was thoroughly snowed in.

Beginning

Just to keep things interesting.

Up to the cliff, left, across the snow patch, scrambling to the top of the ridge you see and onwards. I called it quits at the scramble section.

To the top of the ridge and left is where they found it.
