Couple tips: 1) don’t set the hook too quick when you feel a bite because sometimes burbot chew on it a bit, 2) set up a dead rig fairly close to your jigging hole because the jigging will bring them in and they could hit either, 3) large, heavy glow jig to thump the bottom with a slow repetition
