double header and a question.

got my 2'nd double header on the nsr yesterday on a pic. rig. goldeye on top and a redhorse on bottom. don't use a pic. rig very much anymore but circumstances forced me to.
question: the other evening i built a small fire on shore right beside waterline to keep the mosquitoes at bay. worked great. was i breaking some law by doing this? fire was very small, controlled and smokey. made sure it was out when i left.
