Looks great. Good setup with the trailer. Good luck this season. The ice must be forming fast with the cold weather.

Yeah, I've heard Duster make excuses for that before. I walk in the shack after checking the tipups to Duster, alone. He swears he was just cleaning his "gun", and it went off. What a mess!

Yeah, it was a fun couple of days... I don't reccomend anyone drives on the ice yet unless you know the lake, don't be an idiot! Duster and I have fished this lake for years and know the safe spots to drive early season. Saying that, the truck never did more than 15kmh and test holes were drilled every 30 yards... Just because you have 12 or 13 in one spot does not mean the whole lake is that thick!

I'll keep my eye on your shack fellas whenever I am out that way. I will let you know if I see any suspicious activity around the shack village, or any damage that punks or the weather might cause to yours or any other of the shacks out there. I will not be the only one keeping an eye on stuff out there, with an itch to catch some punks in the act!

If I catch anyone messing with your stuff, I will take care of it right there and then.

Is it a problem out there.. I know there gets to be quite a few shacks in that corner and I would think that grabs a fare amount of attention from the low life's. Is there a history of activity ???

I had my shack out on 40 mile all last year never had any issues. The only incident was over one of the weekends there were some people fishing around it and they felt it necessary to throw all their empty beer cans around the shack and not pack them out. Funny thing is is that I keep a trash bag tied up to the outside of the shack pretty simple to use. I guess they figured it would be blamed on someone else anyways.. But I can't complain it didn't take long to clean it up.

Last year my buddies shack got busted into on the lake, they werent to happy about it took a rod and some hooks and a generator, usually there is one idiot that does some damage, dont think that will happen this year we have a bunch of people going out somebody will be there all the time watching, and like BK says the trail came will get em....
