I have a cow Moose eating the " Good Hay ". I was wondering where I could get some rubber bullets for my 12 ga. Just to scare her off.

Call the FW and they will prvide fenching materials. If not, maybe use an air horn....rubber bullets might be classifed as Harrassing wildlife.

Won't give you a propane cannon ? I'm not sure if they work in the cold though. Consider yourself lucky you've got one moose. Won't eat much. Could be elk.

If you know a status First Nations member your problem is solved. He / she might even invite you over for a BBQ

In what way is it garbage?

A member of our First Nations is allowed to hunt on private land with the permission of the landowner. If I want to invite any of my aboriginal friends to hunt on my land, I may do so, as long as I do not participate in the hunt. And if they should choose to invite me over to their place for a bbq, they can.

So please point out where I am wrong in what I stated.

I'd say feed one moose. If she is there she will probably keep deer and elk away.

Call your local tree hugger / peta rep and ask if they would be willing to pay for the hay to save this hungry moose from starving. They really care about the animals and I am sure they would be happy to pitch in.

I put out a couple bales in the treed fencelines for the deer, but the deer numbers are so low here that they haven' been touched.

We feed a few elk and moose during the winter, just put a bale in the back forty and keep them away from the good stuff, as others have said good karma and next years freezer full.

A solar powered electric fence works wonders to but it can be a hassle when you wants to get bales for your own livestock if you have to feed every day a few times

Have you personally enjoyed eating wildlife killed by a FN under treaty rights?

I have a moose that sleeps behind the house.

I hope my neighbors don't shoot him. They legally can.
