Default minnewanka fishing permit

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if you can still buy the permits at the dock at the lake. Thanks

Is minnewanka strictly catch and release or can you keep your fish there?

I'm pretty sure Minnewanka falls under the federal regulations, as it is inside the park. Doesn't it?

Why can't we delete our own postings?
Anyhow I though I read " no barbs" in the national parks pamphlet but that was a waterton special restriction . But you are correct there is no lead under 50 grams In the parks.

I think Sheep Hunter goes out that way quite a bit, maybe he'll give his 2 cents worth.

Default fishing

Once again I was skunked, but all was good. Got out with a friend and two of my boys. Not a bit all day and the boys were happy when they snagged bottom and pulled up a stick and the other some weeds. So I took a pic and the where smiling like they caught the biggest fish. hahaha. weather was a bit windy and some showers here and there. Hey better than work.

PS don't buy white tube jigs from the dock. OUCH 4 jigs and tubes were $20.
