How about a little background info on you first.

We just need to make sure your last name isnt Zaroff before accepting an invitation to hunt dangerous game there...

The bears are best hunted in the spring on the first hunt. The biggest moose might require considerable extra funds for helicopter time.

The guys I talked to said Moose, Bear and Sheep were $10K each. Then $4000-6000 per animal for helicopter time finding them and getting you on them.
They had zero reservations about telling me exactly how the hunt would be 100% successful or I would get my money back 😉

Been there
If you have question ask away
If you haven’t booked I Can put you in touch direct with the outfitters
Definitely a few things you should know before you go or you’ll have headaches

Doesn’t sound much like hunting.

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showt...ight=Kamchatka

I think the chopper cost when I was there was 1800euro/hr
Something like 2500 usd at the time
They aren’t using little Robinson’s or bells
They are 25 man + Russian flying buses
Shooting another moose was something like $15k, snow sheep was $15k a bear was $10k
There was no guarantee of shooting anything big from the chopper
The guys we seen with the chopper got a big bull moose 2 small bears and 2 small snow sheep and that was 3 or 4 days of flying all day
I calculated their hunt in my head and it was somewhere north of 125k euros
The moose know the sound of the choppers and head for the timber where they are safe
There’s was to get big animals there without breaking the bank
But there is a lot of things that you should know

Not for me but it’s still hunting. Remember there is always someone who will look down on what you do and judge. I have met hunters who refer to hunting private land as shooting pets and not really hunting, anti tree stand and all kinds

Like the old saying goes opinions are like butt holes everyone has one

As for the thread Russia would be an experience but just not in my budget right now. If I find someone to buy one of my kids that might change

OP hasn't came back. Wonder if they were just trying to get people to look up the hunting there as a form of free advertising?
