best fishing place/campground near calgary within 2 hrs trout and pike
looking and looking, please help also if possile a lake/river with edible fish

If you are feeling woozy, I would say it was a great idea.
How many lakes and streams would you NOT eat the fish in S.Alberta?
The Bow has cleaned up considerably in 30 years,, fish meat is actually pinkish again instead of margarine yellow. If I targeted trout to eat from the Bow would I eat them? sure.
I guess my question to Epic is; "What is your favorite fish to eat that is in Southern Alberta?"

haha; you guys aren't really helping AT ALL here. I thought I heard there were pike and walleye out at Little Bow Provincial Park?? Don't quote me on it. One of them lakes around Lethbridge...

Yeah, especially in the "blue ribbon" section just below the sewage treatment plant. They never mention that part in the discussion of how wonderful the bow is. LOL
