The Missouri river is close by and is great fishing. I think it is about 40 miles.

The Missouri is a really big river to fish. If you have a boat it makes it a lot easier. There are some good little mountain streams just south of Great Falls near Cascade. Its just 1/2 hour south of Great Falls on I-15. I know that a lot of the area around there is private land so its probably best to talk to one of the local fly shops about where you can access water. A good store down in Great Falls that has some knowledgeble people is Sheels Sporting Goods. Good luck and enjoy Montana!
