Default License Question

Quick question for you regulation experts. Can a guy have a general mule deer license and a special antlerless license at the same time? Or just one license per species?

It's been a while since I've looked at the regs but I think generally once you have the special license you are precluded from purchasing a general license of the same species.

its either or.

but if you got drawn, you have to buy that tag, not a general

*edit* i am WRONG. antlerless mule is in a different section.

you CAN have an anterless mule, and general mule tag.

You can have the antlerless and antlered for Mule Deer, just not a draw for antlered and the general for antlered

Yes, you can have a general mule deer licence and a special Antlerless mule deer licence at the same time.

And same for white tail. Bottom line is you can only have ONE license that allows you to shoot a particular species of deer with antlers (not including weird little 212, foothills, Wainwright licenses and the like).

Awesome. Thanks for the quick replies guys. My dad was drawn for a mule doe but we were also hoping to chase some bucks in a general archery zone for the first time after getting bows this spring.
