Exclamation Looking For A Former Co-Worker

Trying to locate a former co-worker who was a Park Ranger at Aspen Beach Provincial Park in central Alberta during the summer of 1982. He was a tall red-headed guy who went by the nickname of "Sarge" and his call sign was "16". If you are on AOF please send me a PM with your contact info. If anyone knows who I am referring to, and has his contact info, please PM it to me !!

I would not accede to your request until you gave some good reasons for the contact

I am trying to re-establish contact with some old friends. "Sarge" was a co-worker and a friend of mine. Since I moved away from central Alberta in the early 90's, I lost contact with a number of friends.

Over the past couple of years I have lost an Uncle, a cousin, and very recently a brother. I have also lost a couple of friends, whose passing I heard about well after the fact. I regret not keeping in better contact with them.

There is nothing nefarious about my request. All avenues I have tried to locate "Sarge" have failed. I ran this by a moderator prior to posting, and he gave the okay to post it.

If it’s to pay back the $100 you owe me I can take cash in the mail.

Good word! I would bet real money that is the very first time it has been used in AO.

Reminds me of Pirates of the Carribean;

"I am disinclined to acquiesce your request"

I like it so much in fact, every time I see your name I will think of Hector!

(sorry for the derail Mr. C)

If we are going to derail, might as well do it right.

Was his first name "Andrew"? I went through the Lethbridge course with a large fellow with red hair nicknamed sarge who ended up with parks for a short time. Ran into him a couple times since then but have since lost track of him. If it might have been him let me know and I can pm a last name.

Thanks for the reply, but Andrew was not his first name.

Just waiting to hear back from Ken - I believe Ken has located him.
