Well, without a hell of a lot more info, NO ONE is going to be able to provide a reasoned opinion on the price. So take the time to provide enough info to work with or make up your own mind.

Woman - My car is making a loud thumping noise and I can't turn up the radio enough to drown it out anymore.

Mechanic - What kind of car do you have Mam?

Woman - A red one.

Son has the same truck. Paid $22,000 3 years ago with 87,000km on it.

We have changed the power steering pump and his 3 way coolant valve. Other than that, its been a good truck

Just to be clear, since my first comment reads a little harsh and I forgot the smilie face on the second part.

I just got done buying a 2015 car. It has 80,000 KLMs on it and is absolutely pristine. Never been driven in the snow or salt, zero dings or rock chips. The base model of this car new was 85,000. The model I bought, with AWD and with the full load of accessories was $40,000 more than the base model. I paid $32,000 for the fully inspected and certified one I bought and that is actually a very good price on that model in that condition. Took almost 2 years of shopping to find it. A Base model, with normal mileage and condition for its age, is worth between 50 and 60% of what I paid and there was no shortage of them. The details make a huge difference, especially with older vehicles.

No worries, it’s all good with your comments, this truck is very clean, except some minor rust under the bottom of the doors , small rust patch on left fender, excellent rubber , drives great

If the rust has already started then it would be a hard no way in Hell from me at any price above free. Once started, it will only get worse and it will accelerate. WAY too expensive to fix properly, and I hate driving a car with body cancer.

If you take care of them, keep them clean, they don't rust. If it is rusty that young, guaranteed there is a bunch more that wasn't looked after right. This is what a 28 year old vehicle, 1996 Dodge 2500, with 260,000 klms should look like. Original factory paint, owned since new. More than 60% of the miles weren't on pavement.

Nope, dually is no fun on muddy road.

1992 4Runner, bought a couple of years old with about 30,000 Klm, sold about 4years ago with 160,000 Klms. Was my wife's car. These were well know for rusting out, took a lot of work to keep it in good shape.

2006 GS430, bought 3 years old with 40,000 KLMs, sold in Jan with 162,000, still in mint shape.

These are the type and condition of vehicles I look for when looking for used cars. A few extra miles is not nearly as important as overall condition and knowing that it was looked after very well, oil changes and maintenance done on time.
